Apple has just released the highly anticipated iPhone Software 2.1 update which has been touted as a “big update” that fixes “a lot of bugs”. This update is so big that it has it’s own page on Apple’s site outlining the issues that this update addresses. These include: Decrease in call set-up failures and dropped calls Significantly better battery life for most users Dramatically reduced time to backup to iTunes Improved email reliability, notably fetching email from POP and Exchange accounts
